COMPLICATING OUR LIVES

Sometimes the things that are supposed to make our lives easier actually complicate them so much more. Here's what I do to simplify. I put a temporary freeze on any additions, new technology, gadgets and anything else that I might bring home. Clutter truly will have an effect on every aspect of your life. Unless you can clear it away piece by piece you will end up in a viscious cycle. This is true of debt as well. If you only pay cash or debit for awhile on the things you absolutely need and pay off any charges immediately, you will begin to slowly get control over your debt.
This is a metaphore for so many other areas in life. If we spend more than we have we deplete ourselves. If we give more than we have to give, we come up spending money that we never had in the first place.
