I have noticed lately, the people that I feel jealous of and the people who are jealous of what I have (ostensibly). Jealousy will show us what it is we want, if we pay attention to it. All "negative" emotions in life have a purpose. Think about what kind of person stirs up those ugly feelings of jealousy inside of you. If you say "I never feel jealous of anyone", then you aren't being completely honest. People make assumptions about each other, usually we are wrong, but we think we can size up a person instantly. People often make all sorts of assumptions about me, based on...Then they might take it to the next level and resent who they think I am. Then the nasty and unwarranted comments coming flying out of their mouth. These are people who have never met me, never spoken to me and never will for the most part. I also am guilty of looking at a photo or a person on the subway and thinking "they have it so great". If they have it so great, then think about what it is they seem to have that is missing from your life. BINGO, that is what you really want.
