It seems that there is no way around going through some dark places in order to improve our lives. You can call it "burning karma" or "the dark night of soul", but whatever it is, it is hard, rough, unpleasant and requires a lot of strength and will. Of course there are always those that will hide their heads in the sand and sometimes I really envy them. I wish I could, but it always catches up with us when we do. Some hiding might even be healthy. Sometimes I know that I just want to take a break from all this journeying and try and just enjoy life in spite of what's going on.
