WHO ARE YOU?

If our self esteem and view of ourself is based on what others tell us we are, then we aren't going to like ourselves very much. It's important to know who you are and who you aren't so when a person projects or distorts their image of you, you can tell yourself that it isn't true. Sometimes people will hit a chord when they say something, but it doesn't mean that what they say is true. If it's hurtful and negative it is usually more about them than about you.

I am a seasoned psychotherapist who has been on a spiritual journey. I believe in the intersection of spirituality and psychotherapy. The field of psychotherapy is rapidly changing and I am part of this change. The old traditional ways don't work anymore. I also do health coaching and have worked for programs at AETNA and ABILTO as a coach.
