PRESENT MOMENTS

By staying in the present moment we can let our fears and concerns about what might happen in in the future go. In the book, The Presence Process by Michael Brown, he mentions the continuous breath (also known as circular breathing) as a technique to help us stay present and in the "now". The technique is simple and he recommends 15 minutes each morning and evening. You breath in and out through your nose and rather than pause after each breath, you keep the pace going without a pause. Just take simple, unmanipulated breaths and keep it simple and stress free. You will be amazed at how such a simple technique can affect your entire life.

Focusing on what might happen in the future will not get you very far. Focusing on making good decisions today will create a much healthier future.
