TODAY I CHOOSE HAPPINESS

Everyday we have a choice to make when we wake up. Do we want to wait until a, b or c happens to be happy or do we want to choose to be happy today regardless of what is going on in our lives?
Did you ever think that something was going to make you happy and it didn't? Did you ever reach a goal that you thought was amazing and then find that within a day or two, you weren't any happier than before? Happiness is an acquired skill. Happiness has to be learned. Happiness has to be chosen out of all the choices we have. We can choose to be miserable because of our circumstances or we can choose to view what's happening from a different perspective. We can weight out the positives in our lives or we can focus on the negatives. Each day is an opportunity to view things under a different light. Practice being happy and that is when the good things will come.
